Speed Alert LA

Terms of Use

Last updated October 23, 2026

The agreement

Speed Alert LA is licensed, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which you can read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These terms add to it. Where the two disagree, Apple’s agreement governs.

What the app does, and what it doesn’t

Speed Alert LA reminds you when you are approaching a published automated speed enforcement zone in the City of Los Angeles and shows the posted speed limit for it. Camera locations come from public City of Los Angeles (LADOT) information and may be approximate, incomplete or out of date; cameras may move, start or stop without notice. GPS, your iPhone’s settings, and audio connections can delay or prevent an alert.

The app is a reminder, not a guarantee and not permission to speed. Always obey posted speed limits, traffic signs and the law, and never interact with your phone in a way that distracts you from driving. You are responsible for how you drive and for any citation you receive.

Not affiliated

Speed Alert LA is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by LADOT, the City of Los Angeles, or any government agency. Information in the app’s guide is general information, not legal advice.

Subscriptions

No warranty

Speed Alert LA is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, FDE Systems makes no warranty that camera information is accurate or complete or that every alert will be delivered, and is not liable for citations, missed or late alerts, or any other loss arising from use of the app.
